Today's Subhashita.

Parvati-phani-baalendu-bhasma-nandaakinee-yutaa.
Pavarga-rachitaa  moortirapavarga-pradaayinee.

Parvati = Goddesss Paarvati, the consort of God Shiva.
Phani = a snake(used as a garland by God Shiva.
Baalendu = baala+indu.    Baala = infant.    Indu = Moon.
(a crescent Moon).    Bhasma = ash.(smeared by Shiva over
his body).  Mandaakini = reference to the sacred river Ganges
(which God Shiva allowed to land over his forehead while
coming from Heaven - reference the Legend of  arrival of
sacred river Ganges from Heaven for the salvation of the
sons of King Sagar - for details refer to WikipediA.)
Yutaa =  attached with.    Pavarga = a series of  consonants
(letters pa, pha, ba, bha, and ma in Devanaagari script.)
Rachita = constructed.   Moortih = a statue.  Apavarg =
Heaven.   Pradaayani = bestowing, gifting.

i.e.    Let the worship of the idol decorated by the association of
goddess Parvati ( sitting on his lap as a consort), a snake (on his
neck as a garland) ,a crescent moon (over his forehead)  ,ash
(smeared all over  the body),and the sacred river Ganges ( flowing
over his forehead), provide us salvation and a place in Heaven.

(By the skillful use of words of 'Pavarga' and joining different
words (called 'Sandhi) the author has indirectly described an idol
of God Shiva along with his consort, which provides 'Svarga' to
his worshipers. )
