Today's Subhashita.

आयव्ययं  सदानुष्ण  छेदनं  संशयस्य  च  |
अनिशं तस्य च ज्ञानं मन्त्रिणां त्रिविधं फलं ||  - महासुभषितसंग्रह (5074)

अर्थ  -      आय और व्यय में सदा संतुलन बनाये रखना  (आय से  अधिक
व्यय न करना ) , कार्य संपन्न करते समय विभिन्न  प्रकार  के संशयों और
विघ्न बाधाओं  का  पूर्ण ज्ञान तथा लगातार  उनको दूर करते रहना , ये तीन
अच्छे परिणाम  योग्य मन्त्रियों द्वारा अपने देश को प्रदान किये जाने चाहिये |

Aayavyayam sadanushanaa chedanam samshayasya cha .
Anisham tasya cha gyaanam mantrinaam  trividham phalam.

Aayavyayam = aaya + vyayam.      Aaya = income.      Vyayam =
expenditure.    Sadaanushnaa = sadaa + anushnaa.   Sadaa= always.
Anushna = well balanced i.e neither very much  nor very little.
Chedanam = destroying, removing.    Smshayasya =  of  any doubt
or hesitation.   Cha - and.     Anisham =  continuously, constantly.
Tasya = its.      Gyaanam = awareness, knowledge.   Mantrinaam =
Ministers, counsellors,   . Trividham = threefold.     Phalam = result.

i.e.            Maintenance of a healthy balance between income and
expenditure of the State,  having full knowledge of any impediments
and doubts in the performance of their duty, and continuous removal
of such impediments , are the threefold end  results which  virtuous and
competent Ministers should give to their Nation.
