Today's Subhashita.

आयव्ययेSन्नसंस्कारे     गृहोपस्काररक्षणे  |
शौचेSग्निकार्ये संयोज्या: रक्षास्त्रीणामियं  स्मृता ||  -महासुभषितसंग्रह

अर्थ -    धर्म शास्त्रों  का कथन है कि आय और व्यय में संतुलन रखना  ,
खाद्यन्नों  तथा अपने परिवार की रक्षा , तन और मन की पवित्रता  के
साथ तथा प्रतिदिन  अग्निहोत्र ( हवन के साथ परमेशवर की आराधना)
करना तथा महिलाओं  की रक्षा, इन सभी धार्मिक कार्यों को सदैव निष्ठा
पूर्वक करना चाहिये | ,

Aayavyaye nnasmskaare  gruhopaskaararakshane,
Shauchegnikaarye smyojyaah rakshaastreenaammiyam smrataa,

Aayavyayennasmskaare =  aaya + vyaye + annasmskaare.
\Aaya = income.    Vyaye = expenditure,    Annasmskaare  +
consecration of food.        Grahopaskaararakshane = graha +
upaskaara + rakshane ,      Graha  = family, household.
Upaskaar = supplementing., supporting   Rakshane = protecting.    
Shauchegnikaarye = shauche  + agnikaarye.  Shauche = purity
of mind and cleanliness ..Agnikaarye =  doing prayers while doing
 'Havan' ( a religious ritual of  feeding a sacred fire with ghee, grains
 and other sacred  herbs.      Smyojyaa = arranged together.  
Rakshaastreenaamiyam + Rakshaa _ streenaam + iyam.     Rakshaa =
provide protection,    Streenaam = to women.       Iyam =  this.
Smrutaa, =  prescribed as duties in religious texts.

i.e.        Religious texts have ordained that one should maintain proper
balance between his income  and expenditure, consecration of  food grains
and support to the  family, observe the purity of body and mind, and daily
perform 'Havan: before the sacred fire, and always protect women in
the society with religious devotion.
