आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

अधर्मैणैधते  तावत्ततो भद्राणि  पश्यति   |
ततः सपत्नाञ्जयति समूलस्तु विनश्यति || - मनुस्मृति ४/१७४

भावार्थ -   कभी कभी पापकर्म (बुरे और निषिद्ध  कार्य )करने से
थोडे समय के लिये तो उन्नति और समृद्धि प्राप्त हो जाती है तथा
शत्रु भी पराजित हो जाते हैं |  परन्तु  अन्ततः उस पापकर्म करने वाले
का  समूल (सम्पूर्ण) नाश हो जाता है |

(इस सुभाषित की सत्यता को प्रमाणित करने के लिये  विश्व का
इतिहास उदाहरणों से  भरा पडा है | )

Adharmanaidhate taavattato bhadraani pashyati.
Tatah  sapatnaanjayati  samooolastu vinashyati.

Adharmanaidhate = adharmena + edhate.    Adharmena=
by resorting to immoral and wicked deeds.        Edhate =
prosper, go strong.     Taavattato = taavat +tato.   Taavat=
so long.    Tato = therefore.   Bhadraani = prosperity,  good
results.    Pashyati = sees.   Tatah = therefore.    Saptnaam=
enemies.   Jayati = conquers, wins.  Samoolastu = samoolah
+ tu.     Samoolah = entirely.   Tu = and.    Vinashyati =
annihilated, destroyed.

i.e.     Some times by resorting to immoral and wicked action
one is able tho become prosperous and even conquer his enemies.
But ultimate such a person  gets completely destroyed.

(The history of the world is replete with examples proving the
statement made in the above Subhashita.)
