अनुमन्ता विशसिता निहन्ता क्रयविक्रयी |
संस्कर्ता चोपहर्ता च खादकश्चेति घातकाः || - मनुस्मृति ee
भावार्थ - पशु वध करने की आज्ञा प्रदान करने वाला , उसके
खण्ड खण्ड करने वाला, वध करने वाला ,क्रय-विक्रय करने
वाला, मांस को पकाने वाला, परोसने तथा उसे भक्षण करने
वाला , इन सभी व्यक्तियों को वध करने का पाप समान
रूप से लगता है |
Anumanta vishasitaa nihantaa krayvikrayee.
Sanskartaa chopahartaa cha khaadakashcheti ghaatakaah
Anumantaa = the person who gives the permission,
Vishasitaa = one who cuts into small pieces. Nihantaa =
the killer. Krayavikrayee = the purchaser and the seller.
Smskartaa = one who cooks or prepares. Chopahartaa=
cha +upahartaa. Cha = and. Upahartaa = one who serves.
Khaadakashcheti = khaadakah =cha + iti. Khaadakah =
one who eats. Iti = thus. Ghaatakaah = killers.
i.e. The person who gives the permission for killing the
animals, the person who kills the animals, the person cutting
them into pieces, the purchaser and seller of the meat, the
person who cooks the meat, the person who serves the meat,
and the person who eats the meat , all these persons share
equally the sin of killing the animals.
