Bhadram bhadramiti brooyaadbhadramityeva vaa vadet.
Shushkavairam Vivede cha na kuryaatkenac itsaha.
Bhadram = pleasant., friendly Bhadramiti = bhadram + iti.
Iti = that. Brooyadbhadramityeva= brooyaat + bhadram +
iti+ eva, Brooyaat = say, speak. eva = really. Vaa = is.
Vadet = should say . Shushkavairam = enmity without any
ground. Vivede = dispute. Cha = and. Na = not .
Kuryaatkenachitsaha = kuryaat + kenachit + saha.
Kuryaat = do. Kenachit = somebody. Saha = with.
i,e, One should always speak pleasantly and in a friendly
manner and never use harsh and foul language. If per chance
he has to say some thing unpleasant, he should use cultured
and polite language, and should never have enmity and
disputes without any ground with others.
(The advice given in the above Subhashita is not being
followed now a days , particularly by the politicians , and its
adverse effect is visible every where in the society.)
