आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

श्लाघ्या  महतामुन्नातिरद्भुतमध्यवसितं  च धीराणाम्  |
कनकगिरिरनभिलङ्घयो  रविरनिशमनुष्ठिताSSरम्भः ||  - शार्ङ्गधर

भावार्थ -    महान और धीर व्यक्ति अपने  कार्य और व्यवसाय में अद्भुत रूप 
से अध्यवसायी  (मेहनती और दृढ इच्छाशक्ति संपन्न) होने के कारण सदैव
वैसे ही प्रशंसित होते हैं जैसे कि  स्वर्णिम आभा वाले  पर्वत को बिना लांघे ही
सूर्य आकाश में  निरन्तर (बिना रुके ही ) अपनी यात्रा जारी रखने के कारण
प्रशंसित  होता है |

(सूर्य जब  उदय  होताहै तो उसकी रश्मियां जब किसी  पर्वत के हिमाच्छादित शिखर
पर पडती हैं तो  वह् स्वर्णिम आभा युक्त हो जाता है | 'कनकगिरि 'का तात्पर्य ऐसे ही
किसी पर्वत से है |  इस सुभाषित में एक धीर व्यक्ति के पराक्रम और इच्छाशक्ति की
तुलना सूर्य की  निरन्तरता  और आभा से की गयी है |)

Shlaaghyaa mahtaamunnatiradbhutamadhyavasitam  cha  dheeraanaam.
Kanakgiriranabhilanghyo raviranishamanutshthaarambhah.

Shlaaghyaa =   praised.      Mahataam =noble and righteous persons.
Unnatih = prosperity.    Adbhutam = wonderful.     Adhyavasitam =
industrious, determined.    Cha = and.    Dheeraanaam =brave and strong
minded persons.    Kanakagirim = Golden mountain,     Anabhilanghyo =
without transgressing.   Ravih = the Sun.   Anisham = continuously.
Anushthitaa = accomplished.    Aarambahah = commencement, start.

i..e.     Noble and righteous persons  are always praised for their wonderful
industriousness and bravery just like the Sun, who, continuously traverses
the sky without ever transgressing the golden mountain.

(When the Sun's rays fall on the snow clad peak of a mountain at the time
of Sunrise, the mountain shines as if it is made of gold.This has been referred
to as a golden mountain in the above Shloka  and a 'Dheer' person has been
compared to the Sun.)
