दर्शनध्यानसंस्पर्षैर्मत्सी कूर्मी च पक्षिणी |
शिशुं पालयते नित्यं तथा सज्जन-संगतिः ||

भावार्थ - जिस प्रकार मादा मछली , कछुवा और पक्षी अपने अन्डों को
सदैव अपने सामने रख कर और ध्यान लगा कर उन पर बैठकर शिशुओं
को जन्म दे कर नित्य उनका पालन पोषण करते हैं, उसी प्रकार सज्जन
व्यक्ति भी उनकी संगति में रहने वाले लोगों का भरण पोषण करते हैं |

Shishum paalayate nityam tathaa sajjana-sangatih.
Darshan= by viewing. Dhyaan = meditation, Smsparshaih =
by touching, contacting. Matsee - a female fish. Kurmee =
a female tortoise Cha =and. Pakshinee = female bird. Shishum=
infants. Paalayate = protect and maintain them. Nityam = daily.
Tathaa = in that manner. Sajjan =noble persons. Sangatih =
association with, company of.
i.e. Just as females of fish, tortoise and birds incubate their eggs
by daily sitting over them attentively until they are hatched and
thereafter help the infants to grow up, in the same manner noble
persons also take due care of people who are associated with them.
