आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

              अराजकताया  अनर्थाः  
नाराजके  जनपदे  उद्यानानि  समागताः  |
सायाह्ने  क्रीडितुं  यान्ति  कुमार्यो  हेमभूषिताः  ||

भावार्थ  -  एक अराजक देश में स्वर्ण के आभूषणों से सुसज्जित  छोटे
बालक- बालिकायें सायंकाल के समय क्रीडा  और मनोरञ्जन  करने  के
लिये सार्वजनिक  उद्यानों में एकत्रित नहीं होते हैं |

(यद्यपि  बालकों के इस आचरण का कारण इस सुभाषित में स्पष्ट रूप से
व्यक्त नहीं किया गया है ,' हेमभूषिता ' शब्द से  वह कारण स्पष्ट हो जाता
है , अर्थात असामाजिक तत्वों के द्वारा उनके  स्वर्णाभूषणों का  छीन लिया
जाना , जैसा कि आजकल महानगरों में लोगों के (विशेषतः महिलाओं  के)
आभूषण तथा मूल्यवान वस्तुएं दिन दहाडे छीन लिये  जा रहे हैं जो वर्तमान
शासन व्यवस्था की असफलता का ही द्योतक है | )

Naaraajake  janapade  udyaanaani  samaagataa .
Saayaahne  kreeditum  yanti  kumaaryo  Hemabhooshitaa.

Na + araajake,     Na = not.    Araajake = anarchic.
Janapade = Country.    Udyaanaani = public gardens.
Samaagataa = assembled.   Saayaahne = in the evening.
Kreeditum = for playing.   Yaanti = go.    Kumaaryo =
children.   Hema =gold.   Bhooshitaah =adorned by.

i.e.       In an anarchic Country young children adorned with
gold ornaments do not assemble in the public parks for playing
and entertainment.

(Although the reason for the children not visiting the parks has
not been given, the words 'adorned with gold ornaments'  gives
the hint of lawlessness in such parks, as is now a days seen in
almost every public place as the menace of  gold chains  and
mobile phone snatchers, whose target is mainly women and
children. This is indicative of breakdown of law and order. )
