आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

अर्थनाशं मनस्तापं गृहे दुश्चरितानि  च  |
वञ्चनं चापमानं  च मतिमान्न प्रकाशयेत्  ||
                                - चाणक्य नीति  (७/१)

भावार्थ -  धन संपत्ति का नाश होना, मानसिक चिन्ता, परिवार
के सदस्यों की दुष्टता , किसी व्यक्ति के द्वारा ठगे  जाने  तथा
अपमानित  किये जाने  के बारे में बुद्धिमान व्यक्तियों को किसी
को कुछ  भी नहीं बताना चाहिये |

Arthanaasham manastaapam gruhe  dushcharitaani cha.
Vanchanam chaapamaanam cha  matimaaanna Prakashyet.

Arthanaasham = Loss of wealth.    Manastaaapm =anxiety.
Gruhe = in the household.   Dushcharitaani = wickedness of
the members of the family .   Vanchanam = being cheated
.cha + apamaanam, Apamaanam = contempt,  insult.
Matimaan + na.    Matimaana = wise men.   Na =  not.
Prakaashayet = announce,  disclose.

i.e.    Wise men should never disclose to outsiders the loss of
their wealth, their anxiety, wickedness of any member of their
family, and about being cheated or insulted by some one.
