Anyaayopaarjitam dravyam dash varshaani tishthati.
Praapte chaikaadashe varshe samoolam tadvinashyati.
Anyaaaya + upaarjitam. Anyaaya = unjustly.
Upaarjitam = acquired. Dravyam = objects, things.
Dash = ten.. Varshani = years. Tishthati = stays.
Praapte = gaining. cha +ekaadashe, Cha = and.
Ekaadashe = eleventh. Varshe = year. Samoolam-
entire, together with roots. Tat +vinashyati Tat = that
Vinashyati = is destroyed.
i.e. The things and property acquired by a person through
unjust means stays with him for ten years only and on the
arrival of the eleventh year gets completely destroyed
including the wealth earlier earned through just means.
( The history of mankind is full of instances to prove the
correctness of this Subhashita, Even the dynasty of such
persons also comes to an end .)
