आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

अनवस्थित  कार्यस्य  न  जने  न  वने   सुखम्  |
जनो  दहति  संसर्गाद्वनं  संगविवर्जनात्          || 
                                  - चाणक्य नीति (१३/१६ )

भावार्थ -    एक ऐसा कार्य जिस का परिणाम अस्थाई  या
अनिश्चित हो ,  न तो जनता के बीच और न ही किसी वन
में (एकान्त में लोगों की दृष्टि से दूर) करने से सुख प्राप्त
होता है  |  जनता के बीच में उनके हस्तक्षेप के कारण  तथा
वन मे (अकेले में) अन्य लोगों का सहयोग  न लेने के कारण 
वह कार्य सफल न होने से  दुःख ही प्राप्त होता है |

Anavasthita  kaaryasya   na  jane  na vane  sukham.
Jano dahati  smsargaadvanam  sangavivarjanaat.

Anavasthita =  unstable, fickle.    Kaaryasya = of the
job or business.   Na = not.    Janey = public.    Vane=
in a forest.    Sukham = happiness.     Jano = among
the public.     Dahati = grieves, tormented.   Sansargaat
+ vanam.     Sansargaat = through the association or
connection.      Vanam = in a forest.      Sanga = close
contact .     vivarjanaat= by avoiding.

i.e.   Any unstable business, whether done publicly or
privately (in a forest) does not result in happiness. When
done publicly it results in failure due to the intervention
by the public, and when done privately it also results in
failure for want of the association of the public , thereby
causing grief.
