आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita..

परोपकरणं  येषां  जागर्ति  हृद्ये  सताम्     |
नश्यन्ति  विपदस्तेषां  संपदः  स्यु  पदे पदे ||
                           - चाणक्य नीति (१७/१५ )

भावार्थ -   जिन  सज्जन व्यक्तियों के हृदय  में परोपकार
की भावना जागृत होती है और वे अपना जीवन निर्बल लोगों
की सहायता के लिये समर्पित कर देते हैं , उनके ऊपर आई
हुई सभी विपदायें नष्ट हो  जाती  हैं  तथा उन्हें कदम कदम 
पर प्रसन्नता और संपत्ति की प्राप्ति  होती है |

Paropakaranam  yeshaam  jaagarti  hrudaye  sataam.
Nashyanti  vipadasteshaam  samadah  syu  pade  pade.

Paripakaranam = making one's self an instrument of others
for helping them.    Yeshaam = whose.   Jaagarti = awaken.
Hrudaye = heart.     Sataam = noble and righteous persons.
Nashyanti = disappear.    Vipadaah + teshaam.   Vipadaah =
calamities, misfortune,   Teaam=their.   Sampadah =wealth,.
prosperity   Syu = delight.    pade pade = at every step.

i.e.    Those noble and righteous persons who have committed
themselves to serve the meek and needy persons, the misfortune
and calamities befalling upon them disappear and they enjoy
prosperity and happiness at every step.
