To day's Subhashit.

जनिता चोपनेता  च यश्च विद्या प्रयच्छति |
अन्नदाता  भयत्राता  पञ्चेता पितरः स्मृता  ||

Janitaa chopanetaa cha yascha vidyaa prayacchati.
Annadaataa bhayatraataa panchetaa pitarh smrutaa.

Janitaa = your  parents .     Chopanetaa = Cha +upaneetaa.       Cha = also,    Upaneetaa=  the -family priest who has performed your "upanayan Samskaar" - a religious ceremony performed to all male children, after which they are entitled to wear 'Yagyopaveet'  i.e. sacred thread and to receive education from a Guru (teacher).          Yasch = who.         Vidyaam = knowledge, education.
Prayacchati = imparts, gives.        Annadaata = one who provides livelihood, one's employer.
Bhayatraataa = Bhaya + traataa.       Bhaya = fear, danger.          Traataa = protector.
Panchetaa = these five persons.     Pitarh = ancestors , elders.    Smrutaa= remembered, reverred..

i.e.      Your parents, the priest who has performed your 'Upanayan samskaar, your Guru who has
imparted to you 'vidyaa', your employer and protector (bhayatraataa) ,  all these five persons are like  your elders/ancestors and are always to be reverred and remembered.
