To day's Subhashit.

अनन्तपदविन्यासरचना  सरसा   कवैः      |
बुधो यदि समीपस्थो न कुजन्मा पुरो यदि  ||

Anant Pada Vinyaas Rachanaa Sarasaa Kavih.
Budho yadi sameepastho na kujanmaa puro yadi.

Anant = unending, endless.      Pada =  word.     Vinyaas = putting or placing down
Rachanaa = creation.       Sarasaa = Sa + Rasaa       Sa = with , having.      Rasa = poetic sentiments.
Saras = having poetic sentiments and embellishments.         Kavaih = poets.
Budho = learned and knowledgeable persons.       Yadi = if.       Sameepastho = are neaarby.
Na = not.       Kujanmaa = persons of inferior origin and not having any liking of fine arts.
Puro = in front.    Yadi = if.

i.e.        Poets having a command over poetic sentiments and competent in endlessly creating beautiful and meaningful poetry are able to do so when they are in the company of learned and knowledgeable persons and not when they are  in front of inferior persons devoid of any taste for fine arts.

[Through this subhashit the author has highlighted the fact that poets (as also musicians,painters and pursuers of other fine arts) are able to express their talent and get appreciation only in the company of learned and knowledgeable persons and not before ordinary persons of  inferior origin devoid of the liking for fine arts.]
