Today's Subhashita.

Asantushtaa dvijaa nashtaah santushtaashcha maheebhrutah .
Salajjaa ganikaa nashtaah nirlajjaashcha kulaanganaa.

Asantushtaa = discontented, displeased.     Dvijaa = a Brahmins or members of
the three upper castes in which Hindu society is classified, namely Brahmins ,
Kshtriya , Vaishyas, and  the Shoodras.    Nashtaah = downfall, denigration.
Sanushtaashcha = Santushtaah + cha.     Santushtaah = contenied, gratified.
Cha = and.    Maheebhrutah =  a King (or a ruler of a country).      Salajja =
modest, bashful.     Ganikaa = a courtesan or a prostitute.     Nirlajaaashcha =
Nirlajjah + cha.      Nirlajjah = shameless.    Kulanganaa = respectable woman.

i.e.      If the Brahmins remain discontented then their reputation is denigrated
whereas if the King (or the rulers of the country) remains gratified then his
(and also his kingdom's) downfall is also certain .  If courtesans and prostitutes
are modest and bashful  and on the contrary respectful women are shameless, then
in both the cases their downfall is certain.
