Today's Subhashita.

संसारकटुवृक्षस्य  द्वे  फले  ह्यमृतोपमे  |
सुभाषित  रसास्वादः सङ्गतिः सुजने जने  || - सुभाषित रत्नाकर

भावार्थ -  इस संसार रूपी कडुवे  वृक्ष में निश्चय ही दो फल ऐसे लगते
हैं जो अमृत के समान रसीले और गुणकारी  है, और वे हैं विद्वान तथा
सज्जन व्यक्तियों द्वारा कहे गये प्रेरणादायक सुन्दर वचनों  का रसास्वादन
तथा ऐसे ही व्यक्तियों की संगति ( मित्रता और साथ) |

Sansaar katuvrukshasya dve phale hyamrutopame.
Subhashita rasasvaadah  sangatih sujanae jane..

Sansaar = this World.   Katuvrukshasyaadve = katuvrukshasyaat+
dve.     Katuvrukshasyaat =  tree producing bitter fruits   Dve = two.  
Phale = fruits.   Hyamrutopame = hi + amrutopame.      Hi = surely.
Amrutopame = sweet like  "Amruta", the nectar of Gods.
Subhashita = witty and eloquent discourses.    Rasasvaadam =
sipping of juices or perception of pleasure.    Smgatih = company of
Sujanaih = noble and virtuous persons.   jane = persons.

i.e.       This world full of miseries akin to  a tree producing bitter fruits,
still produces two fruits which are sweet and juicy like 'Amruta' , the
nectar of Gods.  These are enjoying the witty, eloquent and  inspiring quotes
composed by noble and virtuous persons,  and the company of such noble
persons.
