धनं भक्तिमतां भक्तिर्धनं योगो हि योगिनाम् |
विदुषां च धनं विद्या धनं शीलं हि योषिताम् ||
भावार्थ - भक्त जनों के लिये ईश्वर भक्ति ही उनका सच्चा धन है
तथा योगियों के लिये योग ही उनका सच्चा धन है |विद्वानों के लिये
विद्या ही उनका धन है तथा महिलाओं के लिये सौम्य व्यवहार तथा
सच्चरित्रता ही उनका सच्चा धन है |
Dhanam bhaktimaataam bhaktirdhanam yogo hi yoginaam.
Vis=dushaam cha dhanam vidyaa dhanam sheelam hi yoshitaam.
Dhanam = wealth. Bhaktimataam = persons devoted to God.
Bhaktirdhanam = bhaktih +dhanam. Bhaktih = devotion to
God .Almighty. Yoga = a system of meditation devised by the
sage Patanjali for controlling the functions of body and mind.
Hi = surely. Yoginaam = those persons. who practise Yoga.
Vidushaam = learned persons. Cha = and. Vidya = knowledge
and learning. Sheelam = good character , morality. Yoshitaam =
women.
i.e. For the persons devoted to God Almighty, their devotion is
the real wealth for them, and for the Yogis practicing Yoga is the
the wealth for them. For the learned persons knowledge and
learning is the real wealth for them and for the women good moral
character and courteous behaviour is their real wealth.
