आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

परोपदेश  वेलायां  शिष्टाः  सर्वे  भवन्ति  वै  |
विस्मरन्तीव  शिष्टत्वं  स्वकार्ये समुपस्थिते ||

भावार्थ -    अन्य व्यक्तियों को उपदेश देते समय सभी लोग विनम्र
और शिष्ट व्यवहार करते हैं | परन्तु वह सारा शिष्टाचार और उपदेश
 वे भूल जाते है जब् स्वयं उन्हें वही कार्य करना होता है |

( इसी भावना को गोस्वामी तुलसीदास जी ने इस चौपाई में बडी ही
सुन्दरता से व्यक्त किया है -  
      "पर उपदेश कुशल बहुतेरे | जे आचरहिं ते नर न घनेरे | "

Paropadesha vlaayaam shishthaah sarv bhavanti vai.
Vismaranteeva shishthatvam svakaarye samupasthite.

Paropadesha = giving advice or instructions to others.
Velaayaam = at the time of.   Shishthaah = polite.
Sarve = all ,    Bhavanti =become.  Vismaranteeya =
forget.     Shishtatvam = politeness.       Svakaarye =
one's own work or job.  Samupasthite = arisen.

i.e.     While giving advice to others people behave politely,
but when a situation arises where  they have to follow the
same advice they conveniently forget it.
