पुत्राश्च विविधैः शीलैर्नियोज्या सततं बुधैः |
नीतिज्ञा शीलसम्पन्ना भवन्ति कुलपूजिताः ||

भावार्थ - विद्वान व्यक्ति अपनी संतान को विद्या की विभिन्न
विधाओं में विशेषज्ञ बनाने मे सतत प्रयत्नशील रहते हैं ताकि वे
भविष्य में चरित्रवान तथा कुशल राजनीतिज्ञ बन कर अपने कुल को
समाज में प्रतिष्ठा दिला सकें |
Putraashcha vividhaih sheelairniyojyaa satatam budhaih.
Neetigyaa sheelasampannaa bhavanti kulapoojitaa.
Putraah = children. Cha = and Vividhaih = several.
Sheelaih +niyojyaa. Sheelaih = virtues, disciplines of
learning, Niyojyaa = endowed or furnished with. Satatam=
continuously. Budhaih = learned persons. Netigyaa=
a politician, statesman. Sheelasampannna = virtuous.
Bhavanti = become. Kulapoojitaa = family is honoured
by the citizens,
i.e. Learned and virtuous persons take special care to train their
children in various disciplines of knowledge, so that in future
they become virtuous and expert statesmen and their family is
honoured by the citizens.
