To day's Subhashit.

नागो भाति मदेन कं जलरुहैः पूर्णेन्दुना शर्वरी
शीलेन प्रमदा जवेन् तुरगो नित्योत्सवेर्मन्दिरो

Nago bhaati maden km jalruhaih poornendunaa sharvari
Sheelen pramadaa jawen turago nityotsavermandiro.

i.e.  An elephant is appreciated for its strength, a water body (lake, pond) for its water borne vegetation (like lotus,grass), a night having full moon, a lady for her modesty, a horse for its speed and a temple for the religious celebrations held there every day.

Naag = elephant      Bhaati = gets recognition, appreciated .    
Mada = strength, in a state of excitation.             km =  a water body e,g, a lake, pond, river.  
Jalruha = water borne plants  e.g. lotus .       Pramadaa =  a lady      
Jawa =  speed             Turag = a horse                    Mandir = a temple.
