Today's Subhashita.

Praagalbhyaheenasya narasya vidyaa shastram yathaa kaapurashasya haste.
Na truptimutpaadayate dheeram vruddhasya daara iva darshaneeyaa.

Praagalbhya = proficiency, self confidence.    Heenasya = deficient in, without.    Narasya = a person's.       Vidyaa = learning, knowledge.     Shastram = a weapon.     Yathaa = fjor instance, just like.     Kaapurashasya =  a cowardly person's.     Haste = in the hands of.      Na = not.     Truptimutpaadayate =Truptim +utpaadayate.    Truptim = satisfaction.      Utpaadayate = produces, originates.   Shareeram =   body.     Vruddhasya = an aged person's    Daara = wife.
Iva = like, in the same manner as.     Darshaneeya = beautiful, worth looking.

i.e.      The knowledge and learning of a  person lacking in proficiency and self confidence  is just like a weapon in the hands of a cowardly person or like the beautiful  wife of an old man, because all these persons being incapable  of enjoying their possessions, and always remain unsatisfied.
