Today's Subhashita/

Aho prakruti saadrushyam shleshmano durjanasya cha.
Madhuraih kopamaayati  katukenaiva  shaamyate.

Aho =  Oh !      Prakruti = nature.     Saadrushyam =  similarity.    Shleshmano = phlegm, the thick
slimy matter brought out from the throat by coughing.    Durjanasya = a wicked and mean person's.
Cha = and.          Madhuraih = sweetness, mellifluous, words or voice sweet as honey.
Kopamaayaati  = kopam _ aayati.      Kopa = anger, irritation or disorder in human body.
Aayati = becomes, arrives.     Katukenaiva =  katuken + aiva.     Katukena = by bitterness, rude behaviour.      Aiva = really, already.     Shaamyate = gets tranquillised, subdued.

i.e.      Oh !  what a similarity is there between the nature of  phlegm and wicked and mean persons. Both get aggravated or get angry by consuming sweet things or sweet and courteous behaviour  respectively, but are cured or subdued by use of bitter medicine or reacting angrily.
