अजितेन्द्रिय वर्गस्य नाचारेण भवेत्फलं |
केवलं देहाखेदाय दुर्भगस्य विभूषणं ||
अर्थ - अपनी इन्द्रियों को वश में न कर पाने वाले मनुष्यों द्वारा समाज द्वारा निर्धारित सदाचरण न करने के फलस्वरूप वे केवल बीमारियों से ग्रस्त हो जाते हैं और दुर्भाग्य ही उनका विभूषण हो जाता है (कभी साथ नहीं छोड्ता है ) |
Ajitendriya vargasya naachaarena bhavetphalam.
Kevalam dehakhedaaya durbhagasya vibhooshanam.
Ajitendriya = having uncontrolled passion Vargasya = catageory of people.
Naachaaret = na +aacharena. Na = not. Aacharena = established rules of proper conduct.
Bhavetphalam = bhavet + phalam . Bhavet = happen. Phalam = result.
Kevalam = only. Dehanaashaaya = deha + khedaaya . Deha= body. Khedaaya = distress, fatigue. Durbhagasya = an unfortunate person's Vibhushanam = decoration,adorning.
i.e. Due to non observance of the socially established rules of conduct by persons having uncontrolled passion, results in their sickness and fatigue, and they are adorned by misfortune (which never leaves them ).
