Today's Subhashita.

अज्ञानाद्यदि   वा  ज्ञानात्कृत्वं   कर्म   निगर्हितं |
तस्माद्विमुक्तिमन्विच्छन्द्वितीयं न समाचरेत् ||

अर्थ -       यदि अज्ञान वश या जान बूझ कर कोई निषिद्ध या गलत कार्य हो जाय तो उसके  परिणाम से मुक्ति पाने के पश्चात् पुनः दूसरी बार ऐसा कार्य नहीं करना चाहिये  |

Agyaanaadyadi vaa gyaanaatkrutvaa karmam nigarhitam.
Tasmaadvimuktimanvicchandviteeyam na samaacharet.

Agyaanaadyadi = agyaanaat +yadi.      Agyaanaat = due to ignorance.      Yadi = if.
Vaa = or.      Gyaanaatkrutvam =  Gyaanaat +  krutvam.     Gyaanat = knowingly.
Krutvam = done.      Karmam = activity, action.     Nigarhitam = prohibited,reprehensible/
Tasmadvimuktimanvicchandviteeyam = tasmat +vimuktim + anvicchan +dviteeyam.
Tasmaat = therefore, hence.    Vimuktim = riddance, release.    Anviccham = seek.
Dviteeyam =  for the second time.     Na = not.      Samaacharet = perform.

i.e.      If unknowingly or knowingly some prohibited or reprehensible activity is done , then after getting rid of its consequences, such acts must not be done again for the second time.
