Today's Subhashita.

परवाच्येषु  निपुणः सर्वो भवति सर्वदा |
आत्म्य्वाच्यं न जानाति जानन्नपि च गुह्यते || -संस्कृत सुभाषितानि

भावार्थ -    दूसरों की कमियों की  आलोचना करने  में सभी लोग
सदैव  निपुण होते हैं , परन्तु स्वयं अपनी कमियों को या तो नहीं
जानते हैं और यदि जानते भी हों तो उन्हें गुप्त रखते (छिपाते) हैं |

Paravaachyeshu nipunah sarvo bhavati sarvadaa.
aatmavaachyam na jaanaati jaanannapi cha guhyate.

Paravaachyeshu =para +vaachyeshu.    Para = others.
Vaachyeshu = shortcomings, criticism of others.   Nipunah =
expert.    Sarvo =  all.    Sarvoada=  always.   Aatmavaachyam =
one's own shortcomings.   Na = not.   Jaanaati = knows,
Jaanannapi = jaanan + api.    Jaanan = knowing.  Api =evem/
cha = and.   Guhyate =  keeps secret,  conceals.

i.e.       People are  always expert in  criticising others for their
shortcomings, whereas  they  either do  not know their own
shortcomings or even if they are  aware  about them, they try to
conceal them as a secret ..
