आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

एवं  सर्वमिदं  कृत्वा  यन्मयासादितं  शुभं  |
तेन स्यां सर्वसत्वानां सर्वदुःखप्रशान्तिकृत || - महासुभषितसंग्रह(८०८१)

भावार्थ -    वे सभी कार्य जिन के करने से शुभ परिणाम प्राप्त होते हैं मेरे
द्वारा सम्पन्न किये जाने से प्राणिमात्र के  दुःख  कुछ कम या दूर अवश्य
हो जायेंगे |

(इस सुभाषित के माध्यम से लोगों को शुभ कार्य करने  के लिये प्रेरित किया
गया है ताकि प्राणिमात्र का भला हो सके )

Evam sarvamidam krutvaa yanmayaasaaditam shubham,
Tena syaam sarvasatvaanaam sarvaduhkhprashaantikruta,

Evam = thus, really.   Sarvamidam = sarvam + idam.    Sarvam =all. every.
Idam = this.    Krutva = having done.   Yanmayaasaaditam = yat +mayaa+
aasaaditam.     Yat = that,     Maya = by me.      Aasaditam = reached,
Shubham =auspicious , benevolent.    Tena = thus, therefore.   syaam =
Pronoun, base of 3rd person.    Sarvasatvaanaam = sarva+satvaanaam.
Satvaanaam = living beings.    Sarvaduhkhprashaantikruta = sarva+duhkh+
prashaanti +kruta.     Duhkh = sorrow, grief.    Prashaanti = abatement,
pacification,  detruction   Kruta = well done.

i.e.     On my perforning such tasks the end result of which is auspicious and
benevolent, it will certainly result in abatement or destruction of miseries
of all living beings.

(Through this Subhashita the author has exhorted people to do virtuous deeds
for the benefit of all living beings.)
