आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

नाधर्मश्चरितो लोके  सद्यः फलति गौरिव  |
शनैरावर्तमानस्तु  कर्तुर्मूलानि  कृन्तति      ||
                                   - मनुस्मृति (१७२/४)

भावार्थ -          जो मनुष्य इस संसार मे पापाचरण करता है उसे
उसका प्रतिफल एक खेत में बोये हुए बीजों की तरह तुरन्त प्राप्त
नहीं होता है परन्तु समय आने पर फसल पकने के सदृश ही उस
पापाचरण का फल अवश्य भोगना  पडता है | यह पाप कर्म  उसे
 जड से नष्ट कर देता है |

(उपर्युक्त कथन की सत्यता के प्रमाण विगत और वर्तमान में भी
सर्वत्र दिखाई देते हैं | )

Naadharmashcharito loke sadyah phalati gauriva.
Shanairaavartamaanastu karturmoolaani kruntati.

Naadharmashcharito = na +adharmah + charito.
Na = not.   Adharmah =unrighteousness.  Charito=
practised, done.    Loke =  in this world.   Sadyah=
instantly.    Phalati = results, bear fruits.   Gauriva =
like seeds  sown in a farm.   Shanairaavartmaanastu =
shanaih + aavartamaanah + tu.    Shanaih = slowly.
Avarthaama = advancing, proceeding.   Tu = but, and.
Karturmoolaani = kartuh+ moolaani.   Kartuh =doing.
Moolaani = roots.    Kruntati = destroyed.

i.e.   A person who indulges in sinful deeds in this world,
has to face the consequences thereof  not immediately but
later on , just like the seeds sown on a farm which take
time to grow and for the ripening of the crop. Ultimately
the person doing the sinful deeds gets annihilated .

happenings all around the World, )
