आज का सुभाषित / Today's Subhashita.

यस्मिन् देशे न सम्मानो  न वृत्तिर्न  च बान्धवाः  |
न च विद्यागमोSप्यस्त्ति  वासस्तत्र न कारयेत्  ||
                                                  - चाणक्य नीति

भावार्थ -   जिस देश में रहने पर वहां  सम्मान प्राप्त न हो ,
न् कोई आजीविका (नौकरी व्यापार आदि ) की सुविधा हो ,
जहां अपने कोई भाई बन्धु नहीं रहते हों, और जहां  विद्या
प्राप्त करने  की भी कोई सुविधा न हो , ऐसे स्थानों में कभी
भी  निवास नहीं करना चाहिये |

Yasmin  deshe na sammaano  na  vruttirna  cha
baandhavaahah.
Na cha vidyaagamopyasti vaasastatra na kaarayet.

Yasmin =in whatever.   Deshe =  Country.   Na = not. 
Sammaano = respect, honour.    Vruttirna = vruttih+na   
Vruttih = job, profession.  Cha = and.   Baandhavaah=
relatives, friends.  Vidyaagamopyasti = vidyaagamo +
api+ asti.    Api = even    Asti = exists.    Vidyaagamo =
facilities for acquiring knowledge.   Vaasastatra= vaasah+
tatra.    Vaasah = staying, living.   Tatra = there.  Na = not.
Kaarayet = do, establish.

i.e.     One  should never stay in a Country or a place where
no respect is given to him, there are no means of livelihood
like a job, profession etc,  no relatives and friends live there
and no facilities for studying and acquiring knowledge are
available.
