Today's Subhashita.

Upakarah paro dharmah parorthah karma naipunam.
Paatram daanam parah kaamh paro mokshah vitrushnataa.

Upakaarah = helping others.    Paro =best, absolute.     Dharmah = observance of prescribed conducts in a Religion.       Parorthah = Paro + arthah.     Arthah = wealth     Karma = action, doing a task.    Naipunam = expertise.       Paatram = a deserving person.      Daanam = donation.      Parah = best, absolute.
Kaamah =  expression of affection.         Mokshah = salvation, release from rebirth.
Vitrushnataa = satiety, freedom from desire.

i.e.       Helping others is the best form of religious practice and the best form of wealth is expertise in one's
job or work.   Likewise,  giving donation to only deserving and needy persons is the best form of   benevolence and control over desires is the best form of salvation.
