Today's Subhashita.

एकेन तिष्ठताSधस्तादन्येनोपरितिष्ठता  |
दातृयाचकयोर्भेदः  कराभ्यामेव  सूचितः    ||

अर्थ -      कौन दाता है और कौन याचक है यह् उन  दोनों व्यक्तियों के हाथों की स्थिति को देख  कर  ही ज्ञात हो जाता है |   एक ( याचक) के हाथ नीचे स्थित होते है और दूसरे (दाता) के हाथ उसके ऊपर होते हैं |

Ekena tishthataadhastaadanyenoparitistitaa.
Daatruyachakayorbhedah karabhyaameva soochitah.

Ekena =  One.    Tishthata+aadhast +anyen +upari +tishthtaa.     Tishtata = stays.
Adhast a= below.     Anyena = the other .    Upari - above,     Daatru +yachakayoh + bhedah.
Datru = one who gives.    Yachakayoh = beggars.     Bhedah = difference.   Karaabhyaam +aiva.
Karaabhyaam = hands.     iva = nearly, exactly.        Soochitah = indicated.

i.e.        Who is the giver and who is the beggar (petitioner) can be indicated by the position of their hands. The beggar's hands are always below the hands  of the giver.
