Angena gaatram nayanena vakrtam nyaanena raajyam lavanena bhojyam.
Angena = by a limb of the body. Gaatram = body. Nayanena = by the eyes.
Vaktram = face. Nyaayena = by the justice. Raajyam = a kingdom or a Nation.
Lavanenaa = by the salt. Bhojyam = cooked food. Dharmena = by religious abstraction, righteousness. Heenam = without, deprived of. Khalu = truly/ Jeevitam = one's life..
Cha = and. Na = not. Raajate = embellished, be resplendent. Chandramasaa = relating
to the Moon. Bina = without. Nisha = night.
i.e. Human body without any limb, face without the eyes, a Nation without an effective and powerful judiciary, cooked food without any salt, human life without righteousness and following the Religion, are truly not termed as embellished or resplendent, just like a dark night without the Moon in the sky.
